Blackened Steak RecipeDip room-temperature steaks (1/2-inch - 3/4-inch thick) in melted butter, coating both sides well. Sprinkle Blackened Steak Magic generously and evenly on both sides of meat. Heat a cast-iron skillet at least 10 minutes. Cook steak quickly over high heat until underside forms a sweet crust. Turn and repeat, being careful not to burn.
